The Great Lakes region will get hit with another snowstorm next week after getting blasted by a lake-effect storm this holiday weekend.
The Great Lakes region may get up to 12 more inches of snow in a new storm next week after getting blasted by a lake-effect storm this holiday weekend, AccuWeather meteorologist Alex DaSilva told Newsweek on Saturday.The current storm started Thursday afternoon into Friday, making for a white Thanksgiving for some parts of the Midwest and Northeast.
'DaSilva said the lake-effect snow bands coming off the eastern side of the Great Lakes from the clipper will not have the same magnitude of snow associated with the lake-effect bands from the current storm but 'can still be pretty significant.'The clipper should bring about 1 to 3 inches of snow from northern Minnesota, down into Wisconsin and southern Michigan, DaSilva said, adding, 'Maybe even an inch gets to southern or central Ohio potentially.
