"Every single student in Pennsylvania, here in Central Dauphin, up to Erie, Philly, and every place in between, you're getting the freedom to chart your own course, and the opportunity to succeed," said Governor Shapiro. "I want a Pennsylvania where everyone's got a shot." Central Dauphin School District, where the speech was held, is getting $9 million, including an extra $6 million from the adequacy formula."No matter what you look like, or where you come from, I want to make sure that no matter what school district you go to, you get an awesome education," added the governor. "An education where you get to be your best. Where, if you want to go to college, you're going to be ready to go to college.
