For decades, the debate has raged over who would win between Goku and Superman, but Dragon Ball already settled that fight in-canon many years ago.

Goku is a Saiyan from Planet Vegeta who came to Earth as an infant just as his planet was on the verge of tidal destruction. Similarly, Superman is a Kryptonian from the Planet Krypton who came to Earth as an infant just as his planet was on the verge of total destruction. Clearly, there are some glaring similarities there, but that’s not where they end. When both heroes got to Earth, they were taken in by kind-hearted people who taught them to use their powers for the good of humanity.
Suppaman Is Dragon Ball’s Own ‘Superman’, & He’s WAY Weaker Than Goku Suppaman made his debut in Dragon Ball chapter 82 by Akira Toriyama. In the chapter, a villain with the Red Ribbon Army is pursuing Goku and Bulma, as he is trying to steal the Dragon Balls they’ve collected to bring back to his leader, Commander Red. In the middle of the pursuit, General Blue tries to steal a car driven by none other than Suppaman while the hero is still in his civilian clothes.
Aesthetically, Suppaman is the near spitting-image of not only Superman, but Clark Kent as well, given how similar both his superhero costume and regular clothes are to each half of Superman’s dual persona. However, that’s where the similarities end, which tragically means that Dragon Ball’s designated ‘Superman’ is actually pretty pathetic - though that’s actually good news for Goku fans.
While it’s still a mystery as to who would actually win in a fight between Goku and DC’s Superman, there’s no mystery at all as to who would be the victor in a fight between Goku and Dragon Ball’s ‘Superman’, as it’s clear that Suppaman wouldn’t stand a chance against the Saiyan hero.
