Don't get yourself on SantaCon's Naughty List.
You better watch out, you better not drink, if you’re a bad Santa, Transit police will put you in the clink. SantaCon is coming to town.comes to New York on Saturday and Hoboken on Dec. 17 — and transit agencies are taking steps to make sure participants riding the train and bus are nice and not naughty.
“We will have a beverage ban in place this Saturday for NYC SantaCon and next Saturday for Hoboken SantaCon on all bus, light rail and rail,” said Jim Smith, an NJ Transit spokesman. The MTA’s ban will be in effect beginning 4 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 10, through noon on Sunday, Dec. 11. Alcohol consumption will also be prohibited at all LIRR and Metro-North station platforms during these hours, officials said in a release.also has its own naughty and nice list of behaviors for participants — if it would get you on St. Nick’s naughty list, don’t do it.
