Vitamin retailer GNC jumps premarket as new venture offsets weak earnings
GNC Holdings Inc. shares GNC, +6.54% soared more than 3% in premarket trade Tuesday, after the company said it will receive about $176 million in a partnership with International Vitamin Corp. The Pittsburgh, Pa.-based vitamin retail chain said it has agreed to integrate its manufacturing division with IVC through a joint venture.
