A new index shows that 95% of world governments have failed to raise taxes on the rich and corporations during the pandemic.
"Most governments have completely failed to take the steps needed to counter the inequality explosion created by Covid-19."
Among the countries that have cut taxes for the richest during the pandemic are Armenia, Barbados, and Croatia, the report observes.during the deadly Covid-19 emergency stands in stark contrast to government actions during past times of crisis.
