CANTON, Ohio — The climax of Glenville’s historic state championship season ended in Canton, and its road to an encore performance starts there on Saturday night.
Coach Ted Ginn Sr. won his first OHSAA state crown last year at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium with aagainst Cincinnati Wyoming in the Division IV final. Many of his top playmakers are back, including senior running back D’Shawntae Jones with Ohio State recruits Damarion Witten at receiver and Bryce West at cornerback, and the Tarblooders have bulked up their schedule for 2023 after winning all 15 of their games in 2022.
