Glenview Methodist Preschool, on Oct. 12, celebrated the completion of a $100,000 project to create an outdoor tricycle track.
Glenview Methodist Preschool in Glenview celebrated its new outdoor tricycle track when preschoolers used kid-friendly scissors to cut numerous lines of blue curling ribbon at an Oct. 12 early evening ribbon cutting ceremony. Started in 2021, the $100,000 plus project was completed this past summer, “and has already been a wonderful addition for this year’s students,” said Melissa Niver of Glenview, who spoke on behalf of the school as part of GMPS media relations.
” Glenview Village Trustee Katie Jones attended the ribbon cutting. Her daughters Savannah and Scarlett Jones are names included on the 2023 trike track sponsors plaque at the track’s gate. Both girls attended this preschool and their father is Matt Jones. Scarlett Jones, a kindergartner from Glenview, does laps on the new trike track on Oct. 12, 2023 at Glenview Methodist Preschool in Glenview.
