A 14-year-old girl was in critical condition after being shot during an argument Monday night in the Austin neighborhood on the West Side, Chicago police said.
Around 8:15 p.m., officers responded to a call of a person shot in the first block of North Lorel Avenue and found a 14-year-old girl with a gunshot wound to the buttocks. She was taken to Stroger Hospital where she was listed in critical condition, police said.A witness at the scene said the girl was shot after an argument among several people.
