Giant Eagle will only send out digital ads for most of the year, a company spokeswoman said. But it will mail print circulars direct to people’s homes at select times throughout the year, usually leading into a holiday.
But then, all of a sudden, the print ads started showing up in people’s mailboxes again. This Tuesday, however, no ads were mailed out.Well, Giant Eagle is now sending out print ads for special occasions, Stacey Vaselaney, a spokeswoman for the company, said on Wednesday.
“In this case, they chose to mail the circular in advance of the Super Bowl/Valentine’s Day,” Vaselaney said in an email.
