Police said Wednesday night that they now know who vandalized parts of the Gettysburg National Military Park.

“I’m more disappointed than anything. This is a historical site and I don’t think that what has happened here should be forgotten," saidFor the many people who travel from all over the world to see the Gettysburg National Park, like Djil Heckel who came from France, this vandalism on historic land is hard to forget.According to the park, staff members found multiple boulders on Little Round Top last Thursday with scratches.

Also, in West Racehorse Alley, on walls and trash bins, phrases like “hope wins” and the same hearts had been painted on. Luckily, the boulders have since been cleaned up by park preservation staff. Though, they will never be the same.
