The board of the German Music Publishers Association (DMV) has appointed Birgit Böcher as the organization's new managing director.

"In her 15 years at the publishers association Birgit Böcher substantially contributed to the success of our association and set various new impulses," said association presidentThe association boasts a membership of more than 350 and represents 90% of Germany's publishing market. The members reached a total turnover of more than 690 million euro last year.
