Sugar Bowl CEO Jeff Hundley confirmed in a press conference that the game will take place one day later on Thursday due to public safety concerns. It was initially set for an 8:45 p.m. ET/5:45 p.m. PT kickoff on Wednesday. Georgia will be without starting quarterback Carson Beck due to an elbow injury, with sophomore Gunner Stockton likely set to get the start. He will be aided by the running back duo of Trevor Etienne and Nate Frazier.
