A dynamic wide receiver who can play outside or from the slot for a favorable matchup inside, Jackson could change the trajectory of Rutgers’ offense this fall.

, who caught 77 passes for almost 1,200 yards and 15 scores as a Division-II All-American wide receiver for the California Vulcans last fall.

A Pittsburgh native who played for Serra Catholic high school, Jackson was named first-team all-state at defensive back and second-team as an athlete in 2017 before migrating to the west coast.

Rutgers’ quarterback heading into the fall, Wimsatt completed just 44.8% of his passes for 757 yards while throwing five touchdowns and seven interceptions last season. He said improving his mechanics comes down to “more consistency”. Adding a player with the tools that Jackson brings can bolster an offense with moved with more intention this spring.
