Temperatures reached 71 degrees in Rochester Monday, shattering the previous March 4 record in the city.
The spring-like weather encouraged lots of people to ditch their jackets and go for a walk, or grab a scooter and a helmet. "My mom wanted to go on a bike ride," said Aria, who was out and about enjoying Monday's warm weather."I always say the best part of living in Rochester is the spring time," said Drew Nye, owner of"Using Roam as an example, our patios double the size of the dining room," he explained. "I wouldn't say our businesses necessarily doubles, but it has a huge impact on our sales.
"I'm just out here chilling, playing music with my friends, and it is a great day in the neighborhood," said park visitor Aaron Owens. "Put the vacation in, come out and enjoy the weather."
