Dutch Bros Coffee, Dirty Dough among businesses planning locations in Katy
Torii Japanese restaurant
has filed a permit to open its first location outside its home state. The restaurant is best known for its sushi, according to the company’s website, but chefs also create other authentic Japanese cuisine. Torri Japanese filed a permit to open at 22403 Grand Circle Drive in Katy Asian Town. Construction on the estimated $180,000 project is expected to begin mid-June and be completed around mid-December. The restaurant would occupy an 1,800-square-foot space.K9 Resort, planned at 1380 Grand Parkway, offers daily dog daycare and overnight lodging services. Construction on the 8,550-square-foot facility is projected to begin June 1 and has an estimated completion date of Nov. 30.
