So defeating a district state playoff team from last season is big. A win on Friday in Channelview would be even bigger.

Escobar needed just 81 pitches to go the seven-inning distance. He forced the Falcons to put goose eggs on the scoreboard for every inning but the fifth when the visitors scored three go-ahead runs.
