Thompson and the Warriors could never get on the same page on a contract extension, with The Athletic reporting that Thompson’s side felt “that the Warriors’ interest in a reunion has been disingenuous.”The 34-year-old sharpshooter has lost a step and is coming off meager production — for him, at least — of 17.9 points per game, his fewest since his second year in the league.The 6-foot-6 Thompson is still a high-level shooter — he hit 38.
