An air ambulance landed at the scene of the crash involving a Transit van towing a trailer on the A533.She was given painkillers at the scene near the junction of Whatcroft Lane.The children were taken to hospital as a precaution following the 2pm smash.A spokesperson for Cheshire Constabulary said: "The incident involved two vehicles, a black Land Rover discovery and a transit van which was towing a trailer.
"The driver of the discovery, a 28-year-old woman, was airlifted to hospital with serious injuries - they are not believed to be life threatening."
