Officers were made aware of a viral video circulating on social media, in which an individual threatened to shoot multiple people, police said in a news...

Police did not name the individual but the social media handle for the man had his name as Zyshon Murphy, who remains in Tarrant County Jail on a terroristic threat charge causing fear of imminent serious bodily injury.

According to court records, he was arrested Friday and booked early next morning. His attorney declined to comment. In a post on his Snapchat, a man with Murphy’s name said he was going to downtown Fort Worth to shoot people, including police and civilians. He shows a rifle on the ground and said in the video he bought another gun.The text on the video said, “May 7th 3:00pm Sunday IS YALL DEATH DAY SO DONT BE IN DOWNTOWN.”Related Stories
