Kickoff Press Conference at the American Airlines Center on May 12, 2017 in Dallas, Texas. Former UFC champion Robert Whittaker wasn’t thrilled that images of his ruptured jaw and teeth were shared with the world the night he lost to Khamzat Chimaev at UFC 308 in Salt Lake City. While laughing and good-natured as he usually is, Whittaker made it known that Cormier was the one responsible for the picture being leaked online.

Someone with less of a sense of humor and a less even-keeled personality might have been more sensitive about Cormier sharing the images. However, Whittaker is one of the most easygoing and likable fighters in the sport. According to Whittaker, he’s already back in the gym training. It’s been a month since the loss and only a short period since the surgery to remove his teeth. Nonetheless, he already has his sights set on changing some things with his approach.
