A former Riverside County correctional officer, Cecilia Pulido, was arrested on Friday for allegedly sexually assaulting a juvenile inmate. Authorities were alerted to the potential relationship between Pulido and the young inmate by members of the Riverside County Probation Department. Detectives subsequently identified Pulido, a resident of Moreno Valley, as a person of interest and took her into custody.
Pulido had been employed by the Riverside County Probation Department as a probation corrections officer since 2023 but resigned before the allegations surfaced. She was booked at the Robert Presley Detention Center on suspicion of annoying and molesting a child, sexual contact with a prisoner or inmate, and other related offenses, though specifics regarding those offenses were not disclosed.
