A former Pleasant Grove High School teacher and coach has been charged with a felony crime involving sexual contact with a student.
Alex James Reedy, 28, is charged with school employee having sexual contact with a student under the age of 19, according to court records made public Friday. Reedy was booked into the Jefferson County Jail at 11:08 a.m. Thursday and released at 3:19 p.m. after posting $10,000 bond.Pleasant Grove Police Chief Danny Reid said Jefferson County Schools’ school resource officers notified police about an incident involving a student. No additional details were released.
