One of two other students in the hallway who witnessed the incident quickly reported it to teacher Brandi Chammartin.Chammartin testified that she found the girl in her classroom after hearing about what happened. She said the girl was “upset, in tears,” but had been scared no one would believe her. Judge Kevin Hill said the three students and two staff members who testified that McFarlan touched the girl were credible, and seemed to be telling the truth.
