A former Hygiene Fire captain is accused of sexually assaulting multiple women, including two subordinates.
Barnaby is currently employed by the Mountain View Fire Protection District, but has been placed on unpaid leave.
“We are deeply concerned about the allegations regarding one of our firefighters,” Mountain View Fire wrote in a statement. “Mountain View Fire Rescue is committed to being a safe and inclusive workplace for everyone. We’re assessing these accusations and currently discussing the situation with our legal counsel.”
