The two-term Louisiana governor’s opinion was echoed by the Trump campaign on Tuesday morning.
Former Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal is taking aim at Vice President Kamala Harris , accusing her of being a potential Trojan horse candidate.
“If Walz won’t tell voters the truth, we will: just like Kamala Harris, Tim Walz is a dangerously liberal extremist, and the Harris-Walz California dream is every American’s nightmare,” Trump campaign press secretary Karoline Leavitt said in a statement. “I do believe that Gov. Tim Walz has all the qualities that the vice president needs to balance out the ticket,” Rep. Omar said.
The coalition held a mobilization Zoom call on Monday evening. Aaron Regunberg, a leader in Progressives for Harris, spoke to TND after Biden announced he would no longer seek reelection.
