The driver was stopped near Lancaster
A man has been arrested after a Ford Transit van containing 20k cash and 6 bags of cannabis stopped on M6.
When officers searched the van, they found six zip-lock bags containing cannabis, a carrier bag containing around £20,000, plus paraphernalia associated with drug supply. A 61-year-old man from Elland, West Yorkshire, was arrested at the scene on suspicion of drug supply and money laundering.In a post on Facebook, Lancashire Police said: "The Ford Transit van was pulled over on Friday after it was seen travelling southbound on the M6 Motorway near Lancaster.
"A 61-year-old man from Elland, West Yorkshire, was arrested at the scene on suspicion of drug supply and money laundering. He was released on bail pending further enquiries until April 13th.
