The 22-year-old tried to evade authorities on foot but was unsuccessful. Police in Tampa, Florida, have arrested a 22-year-old man who was spotted driving a black Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat at over 130 mph in a 60 mph zone. Authorities were alerted to the speeding driver at around 11:20 a.m.
says he has been charged with reckless driving, fleeing to elude high speed, and driving with no valid driver’s license. He is also understood to have been in violation of his probation. While attempting to run from the police is idiotic, plenty of people still try to do it. Earlier this week, a Hyundai Elantra N driver in Arkansas was arrested after a high-speed chase with officers that saw the driver speed through a highway construction zone.
