A Florida Panthers employee was reportedly fired after leaking photos of the team’s new center-ice logo.
On Monday evening, David Rodriguez, host of FLA Cats Hockey Podcast, shared an image of the new rink design on X, asking “This real?”on Wednesday that the person who took the image posted by Rodriguez was fired from their position with the team.“This year our shield finds its way back to center ice,” the Panthers’ X post read. “And for the first time in franchise history, the circle is filled with red.
“The sun’s looking a little different in South Florida,” the post read. “The shield is placed over sun rays inspired by the embossed pattern in the Stanley Cup.” The Panthers took home the Stanley Cup after beating the Oilers in seven games last season, their first title in franchise history.Where a potentially special Knicks season could go wrong
