The investigation found the 17-year-old allegedly stole her parents' debit cards to withdraw $503.00 to help pay for her parents to be killed and then another payment of $926.40 to a second individual when the first act wasn't carried out.'s boyfriend, who told them he had seen her at a well-known drug house on the morning of September 9, where she informed him of her plan to have her parents murdered.was then interviewed by police at her home.
"This is a sad case when you think about the family dynamics and everything," Sergeant Fred Jones, of the Lake County Sheriff's Office, toldJones confirmed that it was the parents who pressed charges against the 17-year-old."When it comes to something like that I cannot imagine the shock you would be in as a parent knowing that this is my daughter—what my daughter intended to do," he added.
"Whether it was going to take place or not, the money did exchange hands and we're glad we were able to stop what could've happened.""The parents are good people, outstanding citizens. This was just somebody, who for whatever reason, just didn't want her parents around," Jones
