The flood watch, which will be in effect from 2 p.m. through the evening, said, “Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.” Showers and storms could last until about 2 a.m. Tuesday, and could be followed by more showers between about 2–5 a.m., forecasters said.
