Published:The National Weather Service has issued a flood watch for all 21 New Jersey counties on Sunday with multiple rounds of rain and thunderstorms on the way. Another 1 to 1.5 inches of rain is expected.A flood watch has been issued for all 21 New Jersey counties with multiple rounds of heavy downpours and thunderstorms in the forecast for Sunday following the drenching storms that saturated parts of the state with up to 4 inches of rain at the start of the weekend.said.
A coastal flood advisory has also been issued for Ocean County, where the heaviest rain fell in the storms Friday night into Saturday.Towns that at least 3.5 inches of rain in those storms included Berkeley and West Creek in Ocean County, Howell, Little Silver and Tinton Falls in Monmouth County, Millville in Cumberland County and Ventnor in Atlantic County.
