Blumhouse exec Jason Blum teases a major secret character for the upcoming Five Nights at Freddy's movie the marketing hasn't even hinted at.

Summary SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT With a whole host of Easter eggs already teased, Jason Blum is teasing a major hidden character for the Five Nights at Freddy's movie.

During the special Blumfest panel at 2023's New York Comic Con, of which Screen Rant was in attendance of, Blum and co-writer/director Emma Tammi offered some insight for the highly anticipated Five Nights at Freddy's movie. While discussing the various Easter eggs and ties to the video games, the Blumhouse CEO teased that there is a major mystery character set to appear in the adaptation that has yet to even be hinted at in the marketing.

Who Five Nights at Freddy's Secret Character Could Be In the lead up to the movie's release, Blum and Tammi have frequently teased the wide range of Easter eggs set to be featured from the games, with the former specifically inviting viewers to keep an eye on the security monitor's in Mike's office.

If looking at Blum's previous tease of keeping an eye on the monitors is a hint regarding Five Nights at Freddy's secret character, it does seem likely that this would be an animatronic from one of Cawthon's sequels. To this point, the movie has already been confirmed to include the eponymous bear alongside Bonnie the Rabbit, Foxy the Pirate Fox, Chica, Cupcake and Springtrap.

Should the Five Nights at Freddy's movie's secret character prove to be human, the most likely candidate would be that of William Afton, the original owner of the eponymous restaurant and serial killer who murdered the children whose souls possess the various animatronics. Early reports of the movie's development indicated that this role would be played by Lillard, only for subsequent reports to state he is actually Mike's career counselor, Steve Raglan.
