Increasing rain chances and cooler conditions arrive mid-to-late week.
MONTGOMERY, Ala. - Labor Day weather features more of the same, as hot temperatures, a bit of a humid factor and the chance for scattered showers and storms remain in play across the area. After today, the forecast will start to transition, as rain chances will elevate and temperatures will lower through mid-to-late week.
A cold front starts to move south, into the region, by Tuesday. That will start to lower afternoon highs a bit, into the lower 90s. Skies will remain partly cloudy and winds will be out of the east around 10 mph, gusting at times. Rain chances are isolated to scattered in nature. Lows will hover in the 70s under plenty of clouds and a few storms around.
