Rain chances are more limited as the week moves along.
MONTGOMERY, Ala. - After a few weeks of wetter, less hot weather… Summer is returning with a vengeance this week! Afternoon temperatures will soar back above normal as we move into August, with most locations heating into the mid 90s each day. Overwhelming humidity will push the heat index into the 103-108 degree range each afternoon and rain will be hard to come by.
Today will be hot and humid! The coverage of isolated storms continues to lower, primarily focused for far south Alabama. Those lucky enough to get rain will still be hot, but those who miss out on the showers will reach the mid 90s with ease. Throw in some humidity and it will feel every bit of 105-108 degrees by the afternoon.
