Drought conditions slowly worsens as the dry streak carries on
MONTGOMERY, Ala. - The streak of dry days without measurable rainfall at Montgomery Regional Airport is now 20 and counting. That streak will continue for the foreseeable future as a stubborn ridge of high pressure hovers over the Southeast, keeping us dry for several more days.
While we desperately need the rain, the dry weather makes for rather nice outdoor plans. Afternoon high temperatures will continue to rise slightly each day this week, reaching the middle to upper 80s by week’s end, with morning temperatures hovering in the 50s during the night and early mornings.Watch the latest live and local weather data below, streaming on WSFA Weather Now!
