First Alert: Quiet Weather Pattern Settles In

Warm afternoons and mild mornings expected through the week

MONTGOMERY, Ala. - After a weak system brings a very low chance for a brief shower early this morning, central and south Alabama will transition into a quiet and pleasant weather pattern for the rest of the week.

High pressure will build into the region, leading to several days of dry weather, comfortable humidity levels, and plenty of sunshine. Temperatures will remain near seasonal averages through midweek before gradually warming heading into the weekend, with highs eventually climbing into the upper 80s to lower 90s by Sunday. Patchy fog is possible early this morning, so use caution during the commute and allow extra travel time.

There is a very low chance for a brief shower early, but conditions improve quickly. Clouds will linger through the day with mostly cloudy to partly cloudy skies. Highs will reach the upper 70s to low 80s with northwesterly winds increasing during the afternoon. Expect sunny skies and comfortable conditions.
