About 9 p.m., Chicago Fire Department officials responded to 1200 S. Michigan Ave. and transported the 23-year-old male officer to Stroger Hospital in serious condition, Chicago fire Deputy District Chief Curtis Hudson said.Chicago police could not provide more information. A spokesperson for the department said they were still working on gathering details on the incident.
