The alarm was raised shortly after 1pm on Sunday
, December 18 after calls were made about a blaze having taken hold of a property on Queen Anne Street in the city.
Photos taken at the site, which were shared online, show two appliances hitched up on the street, with multiple firefighters decked out in safety gear holding hoses and other equipment working to make the area safe. A number of city centre roads were locked down by cops while the event unfolded, with access blocked at the bus station, Cross Wynd and at the entrance to Queen Anne Street near the Commercial pub.
