“Well, we started working, and then we were put on hold because of the writers' strike. We were two weeks away from cameras. So we were deeply involved in building that world out. I would say, when I read the script, I was like, I continued wanting to read it. What To Expect From Final Destination 6 Although the reboot was first announced back in 2019, there have been relatively few concrete details that have emerged about the project. The movie is going to be directed by Zach Lipovsky and Adam B. Stein, neither of whom have worked on the Final Destination franchise before. The script for the upcoming reboot comes from Guy Busick, Lori Evans Taylor, and Jeffrey Reddick.
