Rumors about the rides future are swirling after a possible November 10th closure.
Has the reign of Kingda Ka, the tallest and once fastest roller coaster in the world, come to end at Six Flag’s Great Adventure.
“We plan to share information about the ride and additional park news very soon,” a spokesperson for Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson said in the statement. “We’ll be sure to keep you updated when that information is available.” Zumonjaro, the drop-tower ride built within Kingda Ka’s structure, was also finished after Sunday, ride operators said.
Ride operators gathered on the platform, posing for photos and NSYNC’s “Bye Bye Bye” played as the coaster took an apparent final, employees-only ride, videos posted on X, formerly Twitter, show.
