The driver of a Toyota passenger car veered across multiple lanes of travel for an unknown reason, colliding with the right concrete barrier near the 11400 South southbound on-ramp, as reported by the Utah Highway Patrol. The vehicle then rebounded off the concrete barrier and struck an SUV merging onto I-15 on the on-ramp.A male passenger in the Toyota was transported to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The crash led to the closure of the southbound on-ramp while crews cleared and investigated the scene.Stay Connected
