The School of Medicine currently has over 400 employees. In the past four years, the School of Medicine has built a strong faculty team with forty-nine core tenured and tenure-track members, including two academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and ten chair professors. There are currently forty postdoctoral fellows, with expected rapid growth in the near future.
The School of Medicine currently has two core undergraduate education programs – clinical medicine and biomedicine, with several more to be developed in the next few years. The School of Medicine has ten hospitals with a direct affiliation or with a collaboration relationship. The main hospital of the School of Medicine, which will be adjacent to the School of Medicine, is currently under construction.
