According to new numbers released by the city of New York, taxpayers have spent $308 million on resources for illegal migrants since July 1.

But New York City's spending habits for illegal immigrants are not uncommon, states across the country are coughing up billions of dollars for their unexpected new residents., spending around $22 billion in 2022. Texas is next in line, spending around $9 billion. Following Texas is Florida, New York, New Jersey, and Illinois.

The Federal Government is only picking up a portion of the bill and spent around $66 billion, but the states have spent around $115 billion. It’s important to note, that illegal immigrants have contributed about $31 billion through taxes, so the total fiscal burden on American taxpayers is about $150 billion annually., they’ve spent $1.

expanding low- or no-cost Medi-Cal benefits and new proposals are being considered to offer cash assistance to elderly illegal immigrants. Other benefits in California include K-12 education, indigent medical care, housing and nutrition assistance. California also provides in-state tuition at public colleges and universities.
