CLAIM: Corporate media accused tech tycoon Elon Musk of doing a “Nazi salute” during a Trump event at Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C., to celebrate Donald Trump’s second inauguration.
“This is what victory feels like,” Musk told the crowd. “Yeah! And, this was no ordinary victory. This was a fork in the road of human civilization, okay. There are elections that come and go, some elections are, you know, important. Some are not. But, this one — this one really mattered, and I just want to say thank you for making it happen, thank you.”“My heart goes out to you,” Musk added as he can be seen with his hand over his heart.
PBS News wrote that Musk had placed “his hand on his chest” and then raised it “in a salute that appeared similar to the ‘Sieg Heil’ used by Nazis.”acknowledging that Musk had “made an awkward gesture in a moment of enthusiasm,” adding that “all sides should give one another a bit of grace.”
