While the company initially proposed getting 500,000 monthly active users on its virtual reality platform Horizon Worlds by the end of 2022, the company revised the goal to just 280,000 MAUs, according to internal documents. There are only 200,000 MAUs as of October. The Facebook parent says that the project is a multiyear endeavor and is improving it, but believes the presented vision is the future of computing.
