"The Israeli army dispersed the crowd using tear gas and then live bullets. We retreated down the hill to the side of the road, and about 200 meters away, there were Israeli soldiers on the roof of a Palestinian house. Turkish American activist Aysenur Ezgi Eygi was killed by Israeli forces while protesting illegal settler expansion in the occupied West Bank. She is the 18th protester killed in the Palestinian village of Beita since 2020
