Once largely associated with celebrities’ “secret help” – or, if done badly, their frozen faces – the taboo around Botox injections is lifting. It’s the second most Googled tweakment , and done well and it can be a quick and barely-perceptible way to just look a little fresher.
This resonated with me. Now well into my 30s, I didn’t have deep crow’s feet or frown lines, but recently I had noticed that the lines on my forehead were lingering long after my brows had dropped back down making me, I believed, look tired. Two weeks on and I can still raise my eyebrows – but now that action stops short of settling into creases. I love how smooth the centre of my forehead is, and I think I look much fresher.
