Michigan State running back Nate Carter addressed the media after the Spartans' 38-7 loss to Ohio State, and we have it all for you.
EAST LANSING, Mich. -- Michigan State's run game was once again quite underwhelming in the Spartans' 38-7 loss to Ohio State on Saturday.
Things looked promising when Spartan running back Nate Carter broke away for a 19-yard run on Michigan State's very first play of its first possession, but ultimately, the Spartans finished with just 47 yards on the ground. It's one of the weakest areas of Michigan State's game, and it must be improved in order for the Spartans to be successful the rest of the way.Below is a partial transcript from Michigan State coach Jonathan Smith's postgame presser:
Opening Statement: "Credit to Ohio State, that's a good football team. Thought they played hard. Very talented as we expected. I do think in the first half we did not help ourselves with some self-inflicted things like turning the ball over a couple times. We turned it over twice in our red zone going in again, that was painful.
