Emma Slater is recuperating after suffering an injury to her ankle while rehearsing for Dancing With the Stars.
“I was rehearsing,” she continued. “It’s camera blocking day for week 5. And I just came out of, like, a lift trick, I thought it was OK, but I obviously didn’t come out great because my foot hit the floor and then just did that whole rollover thing.” Slater also shared a series of photos of her from the hospital in a separate Instagram post on Monday. In one pic, Slater gave a thumbs up for the camera as she sat on a hospital bed and held her phone up to her ear.
Slater’s DWTS season 33 partner, Reginald VelJohnson, commented on the upload, “🤣🤣🤣, speedy recovery Emma ❤️💪🏾.”
